Tim Roper grinding in workshop

Shropshire-based Sculptor specialising in wood and steel including stainless and corten.

About

Tim Roper was born and bred in the beautiful South Shropshire hills. His workshop overlooks the town of Ludlow from a thousand feet up on the side of the Brown Clee, the highest hill in Shropshire.

Tim graduated from Brunel University with an Honours Degree in Engineering. He has always had an appreciation of the arts and sculpture in particular.

His work shows his love of nature, having, over the years, sculpted many plants and animals. He works in steel and wood using both modern and traditional techniques to produce his sculptures. His work varies in size from life size giraffes, salmon to hummingbirds.

Tim has created bespoke sculptures for a range of public organisations as well as private commissions both in the UK and overseas.

Tim's smaller sculptures are available made to order via the online shop.
